Greedy Growers sorts its seeds into eight rarity tiers, and each tier changes three things at once:

Two mechanics define the top of the list:
- Divine seeds announce themselves. When a Diamond or Void Seed spawns at the river, the whole server is alerted — expect a stampede.
- Spawn chance is per refresh. A 1-in-5 Oak isn’t rare, but a 1-in-1,000 Void Seed can take many river cycles to appear even once.
Note: as of the latest update there is no Seed Luck system — you cannot boost seed spawn rates with pets, gamepasses, or gear. What spawns is pure chance.

The price ladder tells you exactly what each stage of the game is about:

The jump from Coconut ($10M, Legendary) to Banana ($3B, Mythic) is the biggest wall in the game — three orders of magnitude. Crossing it is what rebirths and mutation farming are for.
Buying Seeds on the River
- Seeds appear along the river belt and refresh over time — walk the bank and check what’s spawned.
- You can buy any seed you can afford, regardless of rarity. Spawn chance only affects availability, not eligibility.
- Free Oak Seeds require liking the game and joining the official group — a one-time unlock that makes the early game much smoother.
- During mutation weather, seeds on the river can spawn with mutations. A mutated seed grows into a mutated plant that produces mutated fruit, which sells for far more. See the mutation list for multipliers.
Which Seeds Are Worth It?
Price alone doesn’t tell the whole story — spawn chance matters just as much. A Diamond Seed you can never catch is worth less than a Dragon Fruit you buy every session:
- Best early value: Oak (free) → Pine ($25) → Apple ($200). Tiny investments that compound quickly.
- Best mid-game targets: Coconut ($10M) and the Mythic trio, especially Dragon Fruit ($7B) — the strongest money tree you’ll see regularly.
- Best endgame chases: Void and Diamond — 1-in-1,000 spawns with server-wide alerts.
