Greedy Growers Items: Eggs, Potions & Trees

Every special item in Greedy Growers so far — the Majestic Egg, Prediction Potion, and Money Tree, with prices, effects, and sources.

Seeds and pets get most of the attention in Greedy Growers, but a small roster of special items sits outside both systems — limited eggs, wheel-exclusive potions, and at least one tree that breaks the normal “grow fruit, sell fruit” rule. This page rounds up every item in the game so far, what each one does, and where it comes from.

What Counts as an Item

For this wiki, an “item” is anything you can acquire that is not a seed and not a pet but still changes how you play:

  • Special eggs like the Majestic Egg — limited-time egg pools with their own hatch tables, sold outside the permanent Pet Shop lineup.
  • Potions like the Prediction Potion — consumables with one-shot strategic effects rather than permanent passives.
  • Trees like the Money Tree — plants that produce something other than ordinary fruit.

That last category is the fuzzy edge: a Money Tree is obviously a tree, but it doesn’t come from the river seed belt and doesn’t behave like a crop, so it’s tracked here rather than in the seed list. If future updates add gears, decorations, or consumables, they’ll land in this category too.

Current Item Roster

Three items exist in the game today:

Prediction PotionPotionUnconfirmedSpin Wheel reward (30% chance per spin)

A few honest caveats run through this table. Pricing on all three items is still Unconfirmed — the community tracks values as they stabilize, so treat what you see in-game as the source of truth and expect these pages to update. The Majestic Egg is the most fleshed-out item: introduced in Update 4, it hatches Flamingo (45%), Hedgehog (35%), Elephant (15%), Horse (4.5%), and Pegasus (0.5%) — including the only known route to a Pegasus. The Prediction Potion grants foreknowledge of an upcoming event, which pairs naturally with weather-camping strategies. The Money Tree grows currency instead of fruit, and its payout cadence is still being measured.

Items vs Seeds: Where Tickets Go First

Special items are tempting, but they compete with the two most reliable investments in the game: better seeds and better pets. A simple decision framework:

  1. Early game — seeds first. A higher seed tier raises the value of every future harvest and every future mutation. Nothing else in the game compounds like seed quality, so tickets and cash generally belong in the river before anywhere else.
  2. Mid game — pets second. Pet passives run constantly, and eggs from the permanent Pet Shop are a known quantity with fixed ticket prices. A solid pet lineup (see the best pets guide) outperforms most one-shot items over a week of play.
  3. Late game — items become interesting. Once your seed tier is high and your pet slots are full, surplus tickets and Robux can reasonably chase the Majestic Egg’s rare hatches or the Money Tree’s passive currency. That’s also when a Prediction Potion pays the most — foreknowledge of a Meteor Shower is worth far more when you have Cosmic-tier fruit standing to protect.

The blunt version: items are a luxury layer on top of a seed-and-pet economy. Before spending anything on this page, price the purchase against every seed and egg alternative in the full value list — if a plain seed upgrade out-earns the item, take the seed.
