Diamond Seed in Greedy Growers: Price & Spawn Chance

The Diamond Seed explained — $1Qi cost, Divine rarity, 1-in-1,000 spawns, and how it compares to the Void Seed at the top end.

The Diamond Seed is one of the two Divine seeds in Greedy Growers — the highest rarity tier in the game. At $1Qi with a 1-in-1,000 spawn chance, it’s a server-wide event that only endgame bankrolls can act on. Here’s everything confirmed about the Diamond Seed, and how it stacks up against its even pricier sibling, the Void Seed.

Only two seeds in the game carry Divine rarity: Diamond ($1Qi) and Void ($1.75Qi). Everything about them is scaled to the very end of the progression path — the announcement, the price, and the stampede that follows.

Why the Diamond Seed Matters

It’s a server-wide event

When a Diamond Seed spawns at the river, the entire server is alerted. No quiet discoveries at this rarity — you’ll know it’s there, and so will every other wealthy player in the lobby. Speed matters from the moment the alert fires.

The price is the gate

$1Qi (quintillion) puts the Diamond Seed firmly out of mid-game reach. This is a purchase for players who have already pushed through Mythic money trees like Dragon Fruit, survived the Secret tier, and stacked rebirths. The bankroll usually comes from mutation multipliers on high-value fruit — the money guide covers the loop.

Identical odds to Void, lower price

Diamond and Void both spawn 1-in-1,000, which makes them effectively interchangeable opportunities — you buy whichever Divine appears. Diamond being $750T cheaper is actually a small point in its favor: it’s the more reachable of the two endgame seeds.

Diamond vs. the Rest of the Endgame

SeedRaritySpawn ChancePrice
MagicSecret1 in 660$500T
PizzaSecret1 in 660$850T
DiamondDivine1 in 1,000$1Qi
VoidDivine1 in 1,000$1.75Qi

The jump from Secret ($500T–$850T) to Divine ($1Qi+) is smaller in relative terms than people expect — Pizza at $850T is already 85% of the way to Diamond’s price. If you can afford Pizza comfortably, Diamond is the next station, with meaningfully rarer odds as the gate.

How to Be Ready When One Spawns

  1. Keep the bankroll liquid. Money tied up in trees you’re growing for “a bit more value” is money you can’t spend when the alert hits — and lightning may take those trees anyway (lightning guide).
  2. Respond to the alert immediately. Divine seeds don’t wait. Head straight for the river.
  3. Hatch supportive pets. Robin finds free seeds with mutation chances; Woodpecker pecks extra seed drops from your trees. Neither targets Diamond specifically, but every extra seed roll helps at 1-in-1,000 odds.
  4. Protect what you plant. A Diamond tree is a lightning magnet in the risk sense — its value makes every extra minute of growth a bigger gamble. Turtle’s one-strike negation is real insurance.

Diamond Seeds and Mutations

Mutation weather applies to river spawns, meaning a Diamond Seed can appear already mutated. Since mutated fruit sells at multiplied value — Golden is 25x, Cosmic is 100x — a mutated Divine seed is a jackpot on a jackpot. The full multiplier table is in the mutation list, and the weather system behind it is explained in the weather events guide.

FAQ

How much is the Diamond Seed in Greedy Growers?

$1Qi — second only to the Void Seed ($1.75Qi). It’s one of just two Divine-rarity seeds in the game.

How rare is the Diamond Seed?

A 1-in-1,000 spawn chance — the rarest tier in Greedy Growers, tied exactly with the Void Seed. There is no Seed Luck system to improve the odds.

Is the Diamond Seed better than the Void Seed?

Void is the stronger seed on paper ($1.75Qi vs $1Qi at identical odds), but Diamond is the more reachable Divine. In practice you buy whichever one spawns — beggars at 1-in-1,000 odds can’t be choosers.

Do Diamond Seeds get announced to the server?

Yes. Both Divine seeds trigger a server-wide alert when they spawn at the river, drawing every player who can afford them.

Can I get a Diamond Seed from pets?

No pet targets Divine seeds directly. Robin (free seeds with mutation chances) and Woodpecker (seed drops from trees) simply generate extra seed rolls beyond the river’s natural refreshes.
